Splinter Padded Parka Wehrmacht

The Wehrmacht Splinter Padded Parka (Wintertarnanzug) was issued from 1942 as a reversible winter uniform. Made of thick padded cotton/rayon with wool blanket insulation, one side featured the disruptive Splittertarn (splinter) camouflage, while the reverse was plain white for snow concealment. This hip-length garment included a fixed hood, internal drawstrings, reinforced elbows, and large pockets, providing critical warmth on the Eastern Front.
