The Wehrmacht M40 HBT Drillich Trousers were lightweight work/combat trousers made of “reed green” Herringbone Twill cotton. They mimicked the wool M40 cut, featuring two slanted front pockets, a watch pocket, a rear pocket, and waist adjustment straps. Primarily used in warm climates or for fatigue duties, they conserved wool supplies.
