The Wehrmacht M40 Trousers were standard feldgrau wool trousers introduced in 1940 to replace older contrasting stone-grey pants. High-waisted with a straight cut, they featured two front pockets, one rear pocket, a watch pocket, and were designed to be worn tucked into jackboots. The main change was color for production efficiency.
